Blung,dkst.itb.ac.id-Tuesday (27 / 5), a new innovation area belonging to the Bonung Technology Institute, ITB Innovation Park in the Summarecon Bandu Area, is the starting point of the 2025 SheConnect Champion. This agenda is a female empowerment initiative in the field of technology and digital entrepreneurship initiated by the Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison. This event marks a new chapter of female involvement in the landscape of soil technology, and reflects a very tight synergy between the world of education, industry and government.
Bandung, known as the creative city and technology center in West Java, had the honor of being the first city to host this event. This event became a real platform for young women to be the main offender of digital innovation.
SheConnect Champion is part of the 2025 SheHacks national program, which aims to encourage women not only as technology users, but as makers, innovators, and leaders in the digital transformation era. In Bandung, more than 50 registered young female finalists who represent technology-based solutions to answer various social and economic challenges.

Triple Helix collaboration at ITB Innovation Park
SheConnect Champion 2025 became a proof that cross-sector collaboration or better known as triple helix is not merely a concept. The Director of the Science and Technology Area (ITB), which hosts through ITB Innovation Park, shows its capacity to bridge academic research with the industrial world and the needs of society.
Prof. Dr. apt. Elfahmi, Director of Research and Innovation of ITB, has stated that such events are in line with the DKST mandate to push the transformation of campus innovation into a real solution for the public. "SheConnect Champion became an actualization chamber of the innovative notion of young women, as well as the reflection of collective work in creating an exclusive and sustainable ecosystem of innovation."
As a facilitator of the program, the DKST ITB also provides additional access to innovation, incubation opportunities, and even connections to investors through its national and international network.
Of the ten finalists who competed, the start of the Haibi Garden performed as winners. It was founded and led by young Bandung women, Habibi Garden developed Internet of Things (LOT) farming systems to improve irrigation efficiency and agricultural productivity from small to medium.
Using sensors and artificial intelligence, it provides reality-time data to farmers about plant water needs, and triggers automatic irrigation when needed. This startup also developed a companion app called Kelana AI to help data-based decision-making.
This victory not only proves that women are able to compete in high-tech sectors, but it also shows that innovation can grow from local roots and impact.
The Bingung City Government welcomes the positive presence of SheConnect Champion. Through the Ministry of Labor, the city of Bandung confirms its commitment to the increased capacity of women in the digital and entrepreneurial sector.

ITB Innovation Park and DKST: New City Assets
The existence of ITB Innovation Park in the Area of Summarecon Bduk, is a real form of ITB transformation as a world-class research university that sided with the solutions of society. This facility was designed as a center for integration of innovation, applied research, startup incubation, and multisector collaboration.
The presence of SheConnect Champion enriched the landscape of the program in Innovation Park, while consolidating Blung as one of the epicenter of female innovation in Indonesia. By opening the door, providing space, and providing concrete support, women are now not only sitting on the stands in the digital revolution, they can also have the opportunity to lead the stage.
