The event held in the East ITHB Hall on June 19th is the event of the 9th, and has managed to attract the attention of 21 investors from within and abroad and hundreds of participants of entrepreneurs, sympathizers, and world fans of startup.
This event is not only the event for 21 startup selected to present their innovative ideas in front of investors, but also as a learning platform and collaboration network between fellow startup and capitalists. Dr. Dina Dellyana, Chief Incubator The Greater Hub SBM ITB, along with the LPIC IITB, LPIT ITB, and Dean SBM ITB, opened this event with a high enthusiasm of all participants.
Of these first wave BSPD registering 90 startup, 21 of which had the best brilliant business ideas focused on technology as a real problem solution selected to resume live pitching sessions. Each startup is given the maximum five minutes for the presentation and continued with a Q-and-A session with investors. They come from various sectors, such as agrirech, edutech, fintech, as well as a lot of the startup that runs in waste management or ecoecotechnology and creative industrial fields. The 21st participant pitching it among others; Nailed Craft, Jiriohome, TitiK0, LisFIT, Virtuwed, Oripay, Winergy, Tax Point, Dissop, Biomate Solution, Ekonella, Pansus Studio, The Court, LobSmart, Pregmiles, Learnhub, Frocket, Rawramie, HARO Education Solutions, and Rentav.
The new one this year, BSPD has also provided another Demo Day session followed by the start of the Hymoms, Projectins, Ganesh Research and Consulting, Dundun, Jiriyana, Juice, Petatara, Lataranga.id, Weflect ID, Nasho, Bell Living Lab, Dontaloca, and Verdetech.
On the other hand, the presence of 21 leading investors from within and abroad like; BRI Ventures, MDI Ventures, UMG Idelab, Javas Ventures, Maven Asia Capital, Sovereign, Capital, TMI, Vertex Ventures, Dx Ventures, Enbeavor, HASAN VC, Grayscale Ventures, Meth, Inventure ID, Coasti Investence, MSTU Venture.
In his speech, the LPIK ITB chairman emphasized the importance of events such as BSPD in supporting the startup ecosystem in Indonesia, especially in Bdul which is growing more and more fertile for technological startup. He also told me that after the success of BSPD 2024, LPIC ITB will host ITB CEO Summit 2024 as the next event that is expected to bring the CEOs of various companies to discuss innovation and business strategy forward.
At the end of the session is also an award for the four startup with the best four categories. Selected based on the value of the sale is Frocket for The Most Innovation, LobSmart for The Best Pitch, as well as two other Winergy and Oripay for each of The Most Impactful and The Most Marketable.
The Startup Pitching Day platform is not only an important platform for startup showing off their innovation, it's also an important milestone in the development of the startup ecosystem in Indonesia. With more and more support from different parties, Bandung is expected to continue to be the center of innovation and technology that can compete in global numbers.
