Bandung, dkst.itb.ac.id – In an effort to strengthen the social entrepreneurship ecosystem in Indonesia, the BUMN Foundation is again presenting a flagship program called the Best Thoughts of the Nation (PTN) 2025. This program opens up opportunities for individuals and organizations who have ideas or social enterprises to obtain funding through a grant system, with total support reaching IDR 3 billion.
PTN 2025 is presented as an open competition to select the 23 best social innovators from all over Indonesia who are ready to make a real contribution to sustainable development. Not only does this program offer funding, it also provides a series of training, intensive mentoring, and access to strategic networks within the BUMN ecosystem and private sector partners.
The BUMN Foundation divides this competition into two main categories, namely Social Business Ideas, for individuals, groups or organizations who are designing solutions to the social issues they raise. As well as the Social Entrepreneurship category, for businesses that are already running and ready to expand their reach and impact.
This initiative specifically targets solutions that are relevant to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), namely points 2 (Zero Hunger), 3 (Good Health and Wealth Being), 4 (Quality Education), 5 (Gender Equality), 7 (Affordable and Clean Energy), 12 (Responsible Consumption and Production), and 13 (Climate Action).
Some of the priority issues to focus on include; food security, green and blue economy, mental health and maternal and child health, women and youth empowerment, digital inclusion, and waste management
PTN 2025 carries a comprehensive approach that is oriented towards long-term impact. The finalists will take part in a series of strategic stages starting from capacity strengthening bootcamp, grand final pitching, final showcase and matchmaking, to project implementation and impact reporting.
What differentiates PTN 2025 from similar programs is the comprehensive support received by each participant. Not only does it stop at providing grants, this program also provides access to intensive training and mentoring from professional mentors who are experts in the fields of business strategy, innovation and sustainability. Participants will gain strong tools for building adaptive business models, increasing the effectiveness of solutions, and expanding the reach of their impact.
Apart from that, PTN 2025 also opens the door for participants to connect with the strategic network of the BUMN Foundation and partners such as ANGIN Advisory, which enables further collaboration and partnerships. In fact, selected innovations have the opportunity to receive attention not only at the national but also international level. It is hoped that PTN 2025 can become a stage for the actualization and catalyst for the growth of Indonesian social innovation.
Registration for the 2025 Country's Best Minds program is open until June 30 2025 and can be done via the official website:www.yayasanbumn.org.
