BROTHER,dhkt.itb.ac.id-The lntonal Technology Institute (ITB) through the Dilibriation and Commercial Technology Products (DHKT) organized Lokalist Invention and Technology Applied for Hilirization (TKT) to Juvency and Commercialization on Friday (9- 10 / 2026) at the Light of Villa Hotel, Garut, Western Java. The event organized through the PRlME SPEP program was intended to strengthen TKT-grading competence in measuring technology readiness as a basis for development and utilization of research results in the industry.
This workshop was intended for the TKT THB Commission in 2026-2027 which has been set in motion through the Director's Decision of ITB Number 941K / IT1.A / SK-KP / 2026. The amplification of the capacity is necessary so that the process of judgment can be objective, consistent, and evidence-based, and it helps identify the potential innovation that can be developed into the application and commercial stage.
In this workshop, participants follow the exposure of matter, interactive discussion, and case study analysis that continues with the practice of TKT assessment of the results of research. Participants also learn how to identify and verify supporting evidence, determine the level of technology readiness, and arrange advanced development recommendations.
TKT size has an important role in determining the rate of growth of research before entering the application stage in industry. The grading results can be the basis for setting the need for testing, validation, and technological development, as well as helping determine the priority of innovation that is potentially universalized.
Through this workshop, DHKT ITB is trying to build a common understanding and approach TKT assessment in the ITB environment. The reinforcement of the competence is expected to support the more measured decision-making to push the research results into industrial applications and commercial benefits for society.
