Blung,dkst.itb.ac.id_ Open House ITB Innovation Park region Summarecon 2025 not only featuring technological innovation and the best work of ITB academic discipline, but also presenting real practice in sustainable waste management.
Cooperate with the Indonesian Solitude, the event held on October 23, 2025 at ITB Innovation Park, Summarecon Bdub, managed to manage a total of 26.3 kilograms of garbage, with 84 percent of which successfully diverted from TPA.
This move supports the ITB effort to continue campus through initiativeZero Waste Philosts, which puts waste management as an integral part of every activity in the campus environment.
During seven hours of activity, the Indonesian Solitude team implemented a structured garbage management system, including placement of facilities, field education, until final transport. The Solitude Team makes sure the process is effective at six strategic points, covering the dining area, the stage, the toilet, and access in and out of events.
Monitoring results show that during the event, 26.3 kilograms of garbage were collected and taken in their own kind. From that amount, 20.65 kilograms were diverted to recycling and compost processes, while the rest were mixed residue.
The produced waste category includes organic food and paper is 11.5 kg, PET of mineral water bottles and drinks 1.5 kg, a package of food cups and a 4.4 kg plastic container, a 0.25 kg bottle of HDPE, a copy of a copy of a copy taken by 1 .3 kg, and a $1.7-pound bottle of milk and coffee.
Anorganic trash is sent to local recycling partners, while organic waste is treated to compost. This approach not only reduces the TPA load, it also reanimates the circulative economic potential through recyclable materials utilization.
In addition to suppressing the accumulation of residue waste, this collaboration also contributes to the decline of carbon emissions. Based on the conservative estimate used by the Magnum, the INNOVIBES 2 activities have reduced emissions by approximately 11.8 kilograms of CO Supremes.
This calculation includes the contributions of composing organic waste and recycling of PET, PP, and HDPE plastics that produce significant emission evasion compared to if the entire garbage is sent to TPA.
"This kind of data-based approach is important to ensure that any activity can be measured for its environmental impact. The results could be a reference to the organizer of another event to move on to more sustainable practices, "Karin said, the Indonesian Solitary CEO.

INNOVIBES 2 As a Practice Example Both Suppable Event
Garbage management success at INNOVIBES 2 proves that the public's event can continue to exclaim without leaving a negative impact on the environment.
With 84% of the garbage successfully diverted from TPA, this event became a concrete example thatpossible event managementnot just idealism, but it can be applied in real and measurable terms.
"We are proud to be able to support the DKST ITB to integrate continuity practices into event management. Hopefully the INNOVIBES could be a model for another campus event, "Karin said shut down.
This step confirms the DKST ITB commitment in encouraging continuation in any activity, especially in the neighborhood of ITB Innovation Park. Through the movement of innovation and collaboration across the side, the DKST ITB is committed to continuing to be the driving vessel of technology, social and environmental innovation in tune with the value of sustainability, making innovation not only advanced scientifically and technology, but also a real impact for the Earth.
