Bandunglpik.itb.ac.id – In a meeting between the Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB) through the Institute for Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development (LPIK) ITB and PT. Railway Industry (INCA), open a discussion room in taking concrete steps on the commercialization of technological innovation. Stakeholders from LPIK ITB, researchers, and the INKA team joined online to discuss patent commercialization strategies for AGV CTT (Automated Guided Vehicle Combine Terminal Tractor) technology.
In this discussion, which took place on March 26, 2024, the focus was on two items of research development from AGV CTT. Considering the contribution of the entities involved in the research, it was agreed that the license agreement was pursued on ITB's fully owned research development component, while for other items it would be considered separately after the cooperation process with other entities was valid to be implemented. The discussion also includes the royalty value of the AGV CTT commercialization process based on management studies of the application of royalties in the industry.
Through concrete steps taken in this discussion, it is hoped that the partnership between ITB and INCA can continue to develop to support domestic technology development. Hopefully, with this solid cooperation, it can bring benefits to the Indonesian technology industry.
