Bandung,dkst.itb.ac.id– ITB's Regional Directorate of Science and Technology (DKST) received a visit from the Ministry of Communication and Digital (Kemenkomdigi) on April 1 2026 to ITB Innovation Park Summarecon.
This visit carries the main mission of bringing together business founders with researchers from the Bandung Institute of Technology to encourage the birth of technology and research-based startups.
Representatives from the Ministry of Communication and Technology said that cross-sector collaboration is the key to building a sustainable startup ecosystem. By connecting the strength of campus research and the business expertise of the founders, it is hoped that innovation will be created that is not only technologically relevant, but also has strong economic value, of course through the incubation and acceleration stages.
Through this collaboration, it is hoped that more innovative campus-based startups will be born that are able to answer future challenges and can contribute to Indonesia's economic growth.
