This partnership includes some major initiative designed to increase the exchange of technology and entrepreneurship between the two countries.

This MOU includes three important points regarding programs that ITB and NUS are about to execute. First of all, there was a deal about giving scholarship to an ITB student chosen to followNUS Enterprise Summer Programme in Entreprenurshipand another entrepreneurial program. This scholarship-giving scheme is of coursereciprocalin terms of "1 + 1," where one full scholarship given by ITB will be balanced by one full scholarship by the NUS.

Besides, NUS and ITB will be working together on the deploymentWinter Programme in Entreprenurshipwhich aims to increase the exchange of technology, social and cultural. The program was designed to transform mindset and accelerate ideas into real solutions, as well as provide platforms for students to network and collaborate further.

Along with agreed MoU missions, some programs have been initiated and running before, such as the ITB participation inInnovFest x Elevating Founders. This is the second time ITB is present as an exhibitor in the event, represented by LPIC ITB.

InnovFest x Elevating Foundersis a prestigious event held as part of the AsiaTechXSingapore exhibition. The agenda that took place on May 29- 31, 2024, provides a platform for the startup of various universities and institutions to show their innovation and connect with potential investors and partners. Unlike the previous year, this year, LPIC ITB also asked ITB Innovation Park in the exhibit, together featuring six of ITB's innovative startup that are supported by the incubation and college acceleration programs. The startup is Curaweda, EBM Sitech, Greenlabs, Nasho, Bell Living Lab, and Prosa.ay.

The Startup ITB partisans at InnovFest 2024 have a significant impact on the startup business process, highlighting the need for strong support of ITB and Indonesian governments. This support is visible from the visit of the Indonesian Embassy in Singapore, the Ministry of Parish and Creative Economics, the Ministry of Industry, and the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology to the ITB startup exhibition.

That support, among other things, opened an opportunity for Curaweda who had worked with Keraton Kasehan in Cirebon, West Java, Indonesia, in the pilot program to digitize the royal operations using Saace (Software as Core Ecosystem). The Minister of Parish and Economics of the Republic of Indonesia, Sandiaga Uo, expressed interest in Curaweda's efforts after visiting the booth ITB.

In addition to participating in the exhibition, some of the startup were also given the opportunity by the NUS Enterprise to present their business in front of the capital company. Curaweda presentation in InnovFest draws attention from venture capital companies such as Appworks, Cocoon Capital, Living Lab Ventures, Maiora Capital, MSW Ventures, NZTE, Orvel Ventures, WOWS Global, and M Venture.

The cooperation between NUS and ITB is expected to encourage innovation and entrepreneurial growth in both Indonesia and Singapore in general, by giving students and startup an opportunity to evolve through various programs and international conferences. This initiative also shows commitment to both institutions in strengthening the entrepreneurial ecosystem and innovation in Asia.
