Bandung, dkst.itb.ac.id – In order to encourage downstreaming research results and strengthen innovation ecosystem at Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB), ITB opens registration of Innovation Development proposals Promoting Research and Innovation through Modern and Efficient Science and Technology Parks (PRIME STeP) Program in 2026gs
The PRIME STeP program is an innovative research funding program supported by Asian Development Bank, focusing on strengthening Science and Technology Area as well as the acceleration of commercialization of research results. By 2026, the program targets the birth of market-ready innovation products with Technology Readiness Level (TKT) 9, supported by the utilization of Intellectual PropertyANDstrategic collaboration with industry partnersgs
This year, PRIME STeP opened two funding schemes for iTB academic community:
- Technology Improvement Scheme, intended for research with early TKT Level 6 to encourage increased technological readiness.
- Technology Downstreaming Scheme, intended for research with TKT 8 to achieve TKT 9 and commercialization readiness.
