Blunt, dks.itb.ac.id - Directorate Science and Technology (DKST) reopened the incubation and acceleration program PRlMESTeP 2026. This year, PRIMESTEP presents a new category of strategic field of Semiconductor, expanding the odds for innovators and startup of research-based technology to expand and have global competition.
PRlMESTEP is a startup-based technology-based development program designed to accelerate research hilirization, strengthen business, and encourage industrial investment readiness and collaboration. It became part of a DKST commitment to building an ecosystem of innovation integrated between academics, startup, industry and government.
Five Strategic Field PRlMESTeP 2026
On this year's assignment, PRlMESTeP is signing up for five major fields:
1. Digital Intelligence and Smart Technology
2. Food and Health
3. Transport and Energy Engineering
Four. Infrastructure and Hatred
5. Semichonductor (New Field 2026)
The addition of the Semiconductor field became one step ahead of supporting the national technology industry, especially in development of chip designs, hardware, systemsembedded, to microelectronics-based technology.
